Why should you install Kinetico prefilters?
Kinetico pre-filters do not use conventional polypropylene, polyester, etc. cartridges, which must be replaced every time they get dirty. A mesh, on the other hand, can last many years depending on the quality of the water. This translates into greater savings and less waste generation.
How do they work?
Water flows from the outside of the housing and passes through the stainless steel mesh, which filters all the upper sediments. These sediments are retained on the surface of the mesh and thus, do not enter the installation.
When carrying out a washing process, a powerful brush and the water pressure will remove all these particles. Kinetico pre-filters have a built-in pressure gauge to read the outlet pressure of the filter.
Technology at the service of your home
Pre-filters of the BP range have a built-in regulator that guarantees a constant pressure throughout the installation, preventing appliances from overpressure and from breaking down prematurely (dishwasher and washing machine pumps, solenoid valves, etc.), which would force us to make expensive repairs. Your water treatment
specialist will regulate the pressure in function of the installation in your home.
Kinetico Pre-filter KF-B 3/4" - 1"
KF-BThe Kinetico KF-B 3/4″ – 1″ series pre-filters are designed for domestic and commercial installations with a municipal water supply. They are made with a stainless steel mesh and have a filtration degree of 90 microns.
They protect the entire installation against suspended particles, sand, repair residues in the public network and small metal particles dragged along by water, as well as against the problems that corrosion can cause due to
the sedimentation of different materials. They also protect appliances, washing machines, dishwashers, heaters, boilers, etc.
